Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace

We offer personal development workshops to promote health and well-being in the workplace.  Workshops are designed for organisations, business schools and colleges, to coach and train self-management skills. The sessions are enjoyable and very interactive, typically 1-2 hours long, and focussed on the prevention of stress and musculo-skeletal problems,

Workshops guide people to become more aware of how they “use” themselves, drawing on DSE guidelines and principles of the Alexander Technique. Typical work situations are considered, such as anxiety while delivering presentations, the use of computer workstations, and meetings with co-workers.

It is widely accepted that stress and pain are responsible a large proportion of missed work days, and relatively minor improvements in personal habits can have far reaching benefits.  These serve both the individual in terms of performance and well-being, and the organisation in terms of efficiency and potential cost.
